The Cotswold Head Spa offers bespoke sensory head and scalp health treatments, inspired by the Japanese and Asian Head Spa’s with our luxury English twist
Cotswold Head Spa has been designed and created to improve scalp health while relaxing and rejuvenating, and our guests visit for a myriad of reasons. If you love having head massages or your hair played with, and sensory relaxation is your primary focus, you will love a Head Spa!
Got scalp concerns? Itchiness, oiliness, dryness, dandruff, or maybe suffering with menopausal hair loss? These are issues lots of us face at some points in our lives. Book a Head Spa and start to understand what is really going on! Our team are all Trichology trained and we love to talk scalp health. We provide a detailed scalp analysis with every session, we can also provide a treatment programme to help improve scalp concerns. We have some fabulous scalp ‘issue’ focused treatments coming soon.
Located in The Courtyard, on Montpellier Street, with easy road parking right outside, an easy walk to The Promenade, lots of lovely restaurants, and indie shops, so book a session and then make a day of it exploring all the best Cheltenham has to offer!

More than ‘just’ a Hairwash

Our Detox protocol forms the basis for all of our Cotswold Head Spa sessions.
These shorter treatments are perfect for those short of time, and have been designed for problematic scalps, wanting to visit us regularly.
If your main focus is relaxation, we would recommend a longer treatment.
Our 45 minute Detox sessions are currently pretty limited in our current location, we have BIG news coming soon on our new treatment centre so make sure you’re signed up to our mailing list!

The 60-minute Ritual includes a Warm CHS scalp oil pour and exfoliation, a double cleanse, a steamy deep conditioning treatment, a head massage, a luxurious facial balm cleanse, and a Cotswold Head Spa floral oil face massage.
Hair will be thoroughly towel-dried and clipped up at the end of the session.

No facial work so a great option if you’re heading out afterwards!
Using all of our luxurious scalp products, treatment includes Scalp Oil and massage, Exfoliating Scrub, a Double shampoo cleanse and bubbly massage, and a deep Conditioning mask with steam treatment.
Hair will be blast dried at the end of the session (we allow a maximum drying time of 15 minutes)

Our signature session, and the one we recommend! A gorgeous 90-minute blend of luxury facial and scalp products, Head Massage, Warm Oil Pour, Scalp, and Facial Acupressure techniques that will leave you lifted, refreshed and rejuvenated.
The session is finished with a choice of Bird & Blend Tea, and you can choose Hair to be thoroughly towel-dried or Blast Blow Dried at the end of the session. Max 15 mins drying time will be included in the session time.

Our Signature 90 minute treatment with the addition of warm oil and Hot Stone massage to the back, and dry hair play and head massage to start the session.. You will also be required to lie on your tummy for the start of the treatment.
This is followed by our gorgeous 90-minute blend of luxury facial and scalp products, Head Massage, Warm Oil Pour, Scalp, and Facial Acupressure techniques that will leave you lifted, refreshed and rejuvenated.

We have three rooms and a team of three available most days. I
If you decide to book for a group of three, you will have the entire salon for yourself for the duration of your session.
If you want to host an event for more people, or if you have questions regarding a larger group - please pop us an email.

Gift Certificates can be purchased online and are emailed upon purchase for you to print, or forward to recipient.
If you’d like to purchase an amount not listed, just send us a message!
Gift certificates are valid for 6 months from date of purchase.
If you require a card, and postage you will need to pay for recorded postage - cost is £5 for 2nd class recorded, or £10 for signed for, recorded delivery.
We can offer collection, but this would need to be arranged as we don’t currently have a reception.

Our signature blend of organic Cotswold Head Spa Hair Oil contains a potent blend of pure botanical ingredients, including 8 Essential Oils.
Our luxury haircare range is Vegan, Colour-safe, and Palm Oil, SLS, and Paraben Free. It is suitable for all hair types.
We use a variety of luxury skincare brands in our facial treatments, including Oskia, Jacs Hale, and Liha Beauty and are working on our own signature range of facial products - watch this space!
